For a 1.5bbl or 2.0bbl system the typical control panel feed is a 60 amp 240 volt single phase breaker
providing 12,000 watts for the HLT and Kettle. 18,000 watt systems are also available for the 2bbl
systems and are used for the 3bbl systems.
Heating time examples:
HLT: 45 gallons from 70F to 170F (typical strike volume)
(12,000 watts) 63 minutes
(18,000 watts) 42 minutes
Kettle: 72 gallons from 140F to 212F
(12,000 watts) 72 minutes
(18,000 watts) 48 minutes
Note: The above times are an approximation since environmental conditions can have an effect on the exact times:

Tanks to provide a complete offering of electric hot liquor tanks, mash tuns, and
kettles. The tanks are fitted for the heating elements, level float switches, and digital
temperature probes.
You can order tanks directly from Stout and the electric conversion / control panels
from Brewmation, or we can offer a turn key brewery.
If you already have tanks, we offer electric conversions & control panels to
accommodate.

tanks. The platform doubles as spill containment. This is quite helpful for
installations where spills can cause damage to floors, furniture ect. The platform
also doubles as a shipping pallet for complete systems.
