Now that the system is ready for
brewing, the next step is to fill the hot
liquor tank. In this set up, the tank is
filled from a filtered water line.
Next step is to fill the grains in the
mash tun. This batch consists of 37
lbs. of grains. The system can handle
approximately 45 lbs.
The strike temperature and mash rest
temperatures are then programmed
into the controllers. The heating of the
liquor begins...
