The Brewmation temperature logger is a versatile tool for any home brewing system. Taking
accurate temperature readings is vital to all steps in the brewing process, whether it is the hot
liquor temperature, mash temperature, or wort temperature.
The Brewmation temperature logger has three available temperature probe inputs to measure
the temperature at up to three points at one time. A serial port is also present to output the data
to your PC running the Brewmation temperature logging software

The Brewmation temperature logger is available with an LCD display (pictured left), or without. If
you plan to connect to a PC, the LCD may not be needed if the PC is located near your brewery.
Since the unit is equipped with three available probe inputs, you can add probes at any time.
The hardware will automatically sense the presence of the additional probe(s).
The optional LCD will display up to three temperatures as shown to the left. If you do not want to
connect to a PC, or want a local display, the LCD upgrade is a great choice.
The temperature probe is built using copper and a heat transfer epoxy to ensure a stable
temperature reading inside water, mash, or wort.
The temperature probe design works quite well with most tank arrangements. By utilizing an over
sized flat rubber washer, and over sized flat hex nut, the probe can be fixed to picnic coolers,
kegs, etc., without having to do any welding. The NPT thread can also be utilized for tanks with
welded nipples, or plastic with a tapped thread (1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" NPT threads available).
The 6' cable is ideal for locating the processor at a central point of the brewing system.
A high temperature option for the temperature probe is available to protect the cord from the
extreme heat of gas burners. We utilize a ceramic sleeving that will withstand up to 1100
degrees Fahrenheit.

If you have an available PC, you can utilize the temperature logging software without the need for the LCD
display. If you do not have a PC, or would like a local display in addition to the logging software, choose the LCD
upgrade.
The processor is equipped to handle up to three probes (probes are purchased separately and can be added to
existing processors (up to three) at any time.

The datalog software kit enables you to connect the processor to your PC via a serial port or USB
port. Once connected, you will be able to monitor up to three temperature points during your
brewing session. The graphs can be zoomed in or out to study certain areas of the data. Complete
with a "brewing notes" section, you will be able to save the session for future reference.
The datalog software kit comes complete with a software CD, 6' serial cable, and serial to USB
converter.
